3) Greet Students as They Enter the Classroom Every Day
Who could be credited as the source of such ubiquitous teacher wisdom? I don’t know where I first heard this great advice, but I do know all my favorite teacher role models practice it. Taking those few moments to assess each personality as it enters the room allows me to calibrate moods, clarify confusion, and impart good feelings before the lesson begins.
